Future Flixs ("we," "our," "the service") offers free, ad-supported streaming video on the web and on Roku. This page explains what information the service collects and how it's used.

Accounts are optional

You can watch everything free and ad-supported on Future Flixs without ever signing in. Signing in is only needed to hold a place for a future subscription, and it's passwordless: enter your email and we send a one-time sign-in link, so we never receive or store a password. Signing in stores only your email address — we don't collect your name or any payment information through the site.

"Continue Watching" and playback position

To let you resume a title where you left off, your playback position is saved locally in your browser's storage (or the equivalent on Roku). This information stays on your device — it is not sent to or stored on our servers, and it's cleared if you clear your browser's site data or uninstall the channel.

Advertising

Future Flixs is supported by video ads shown before and/or after a title, and occasionally as part of the live channel. Ads are currently supplied directly by advertisers we work with.

Information collected automatically

Like most web and streaming services, our hosting and content delivery providers automatically log standard technical information needed to serve video and pages — such as IP address, device/browser type, and request timestamps. This is used for security and to keep the service running reliably, not to build a profile of you.

Children's privacy

Future Flixs is a general-audience service and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes, this page will be updated to reflect that, along with the "Last updated" date above.
