These terms govern your use of Future Flixs, operated by Soothsayer Communications LLC ("we," "our"), on the web at www.future-flixs.com and on supported streaming devices including Roku. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

Future Flixs is a free, ad-supported video streaming service. Some content is designated subscribers-only, and can also be unlocked individually — either as a whole title or, for a TV show, as a whole series — without a subscription, as described below.

Subscriptions and purchases

A subscription is billed on a recurring basis until you cancel, and unlocks every subscriber-only title on the service for as long as it stays active. Where offered, you can instead buy a title (or a whole show) for permanent access, or rent it for temporary access — a rental stays watchable for 72 hours starting from the first time you press play on it, not from when you paid, and access ends automatically once that window closes. Buying or renting a title doesn't include or require a subscription, and doesn't transfer any ownership in the content itself beyond that viewing access. All payments are processed by Stripe; charges and any refunds are handled under Stripe's standard processing terms, and unless required by law, purchases and completed rental/subscription periods are non-refundable. You can cancel a subscription at any time; canceling stops future billing but doesn't refund the current billing period.

Content and licensing

Titles on Future Flixs are either in the public domain, licensed to us for distribution, or submitted by creators under a separate agreement with us. Public-domain status is determined in good faith; if you believe a title infringes your rights, email soothsayercommunications@gmail.com with your name, the title, the rights you hold and your contact details, and we will review and respond within 5 business days, including removing content where appropriate.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: redistribute, re-broadcast, or download content from the service except through normal playback; attempt to circumvent any access controls (including subscriber-only gating); use the service for any unlawful purpose; or interfere with the service's normal operation, including through automated scraping or excessive requests.

Accounts

You do not need an account to watch on the Roku channel or the website. Signing in on the web is optional, passwordless, and only needed for subscriptions, purchases or rentals.

Advertising

The free tier of Future Flixs is supported by video advertising shown between titles and, when we turn it on, before or after content. Ads are provided by advertisers and ad partners we work with; we are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

Service availability

Future Flixs is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and content in the catalog may be added, changed, or removed at any time without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soothsayer Communications LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Captions

Closed captions on some titles are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided as a convenience and are not a verbatim transcript.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms, along with the "Last updated" date above.

Content descriptions

Many titles are older productions and may contain language, imagery and attitudes that reflect their time. Viewer discretion is advised.
